GBI Toronto asked for a bakery-café identity built around one idea: bread gets people talking the way faith does, so the design had to invite people in rather than just sell pastries. I built the palette around four named tones pulled straight from the menu, Timeless Vanilla, Earl Grey, Black Sesame, and Mint Chocolate, instead of a generic swatch, so the same names show up on a coffee cup, a menu card, and a storefront sign.

The tone carries into what the team actually posts: WhatsApp stickers of the team holding bread loaves, captioned in Indonesian slang like “Pukul Ya,” “Bodo Amat,” and “Syok,” and a monthly “Fresh Fellowship Fridays” ad announcing the gathering. The Everlasting Peace Pie menu card and the Signature Martabak ad both run the same structure, description, pairing suggestion, price, so anyone on the team can drop in a new item without redesigning the layout.
