Notion Workflow and Wiki

This is a step-by-step design and drafting guideline built in Notion instead of a PDF, specifically to save time and cut down on repetitive questions from coworkers. Because it’s searchable and includes a comment section for flagging mistakes or typos, both senior and junior team members can find answers quickly, and because it lives online rather than in a static document, it can be updated in real time as standards change instead of going stale the way a PDF guideline does. It’s become a reliable reference for the kind of task that’s easy to forget when it’s only ever explained out loud, and design supervisors now use it to train junior hires across different design groups.

Alongside the guideline sits a Notion mini-site built mainly for junior coworkers getting started in the role, covering the company-specific processes and software the work depends on. It answers roughly half the questions new hires would otherwise ask directly, and has picked up enough interest from other teams that a paywall is, only half-jokingly, on the table. Ongoing since April 2023.
